Why move to London Bridge?

As the capital continues to grow, the centres of commerce, finance and retail shift as new pockets of business excellence appear. Places that respect the city's history yet are more suited to the demands of modern work and life emerge creating highly desirable areas to relocate to.

London Bridge is perhaps the greatest example of this; an area just a stone's throw from the Square Mile yet spread out along the banks of the Thames overlooking some of London's most iconic buildings.

Sitting in the heart of one of the world's greatest cities, with easy access to the West End, the City and Docklands, the London Bridge business district is the modern organisation's dream. It boasts:

  • A scenic riverside location
  • A community of over 300 diverse businesses and 25,000 employees
  • London's newest riverside park
  • A plethora of local bars and restaurants
  • UK Headquarters to organisations such as Norton Rose,  Ernst & Young and many more
  • The capital's seat of power - City Hall
  • One of London's largest train terminuses
  • A pleasing blend of Victorian and uber-modern architecture

Not to mention us - Team London Bridge, an organisation dedicated to maintaining the area's standing as a world-class place to do business, visit and live. Find out more about us.

While the area has been extensively regenerated over the past 10 years, the development of some of the prime sites continues with two structures - the Shard of Glass and 7 More London - still to be completed. This opens up a a number of exciting opportunities for companies still wishing to relocate to London Bridge.

There are also a number of potential retail spaces available along the areas main thoroughfares including Tooley Street. With over 25,000 local workers and vibrant visitor economy it is easy to see why the area is becoming so desirable to retailers.

The time has never been better to move to London, and in particular London Bridge, as London's economy will see a predicted growth of £40 billion 2007-2012, £4 billion of which will be attributable to the 2012 Olympics.
