London Bridge streets become unstuck as our cleaners get stuck in

Our businesses have entrusted us with keeping the streets of our business district clean, above and beyond the levels provided by the local authority. To monitor our Street Cleaning Services, the area is inspected to ENCAMS standard three times per year and is among the cleanest in the capital, with less graffiti and litter than target figures.

Hopefully you will have seen our cleaners out and about, especially now they have had a 'make-over' and are wearing their brand new Team London Bridge uniforms.

In addition to our recently renewed contract with Southwark Council to provide additional street cleaning around the station, 6pm–8.30pm Mon–Sat (25% more than previous contract and 50% more than standard Council provision), Team London Bridge also work with Community Clean to provide ten weeks deep clean washing of 13,000 sq. meters of pavement. During this process last year an estimated 50,000-plus pieces of gum were removed!

April 26th - 30th Duke Hill Street
May 10th - 14th Tower Bridge Rd
June 7th - 13th Tooley St
July 5th - 9th Bermondsey St
Aug 2nd - 6th St. Thomas St
Sept 6th - 10th Tooley St
Sept 13th - 17th Duke Hill St
Sept 20th - 24th Queen Elizabeth Street
Oct 5th - 9th St. Thomas St
Feb 21st - 25th Tooley St

So now you know. It takes more than just a winter of heavy rain to keep our streets clean!
